Ben Affleck apparently ‘had a crush’ on Jessica Alba even while married to ex Jennifer Lopez

Fresh off his split from Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck is reportedly interested in a new romance with Jessica Alba. 

According to RadarOnline, Affleck, who is finalizing his divorce from Lopez, has had a longtime crush on Alba, even while he was married. 

Now that Alba is newly single following her separation from Cash Warren, there’s speculation that the two might finally be exploring a relationship.

An insider told the outlet, “It’s been a well-kept secret that Ben Affleck had quite the crush on Jessica Alba years ago.”

“In Jessica Alba’s circle, it’s no secret that Ben has had a longstanding interest in her for about two decades.”

“However, they’ve never crossed paths at a time when both were single and open to dating… until now.”

“They have a strong connection and whenever they’ve spent time together in the past, the chemistry between them is undeniable.”

While there’s no confirmation of a romance between Affleck and Alba, insiders suggest the timing might finally be right for them to explore a connection.

The insider added, “With both of them now single and their children all grown up, it seems the perfect moment has arrived for their relationship to flourish.”

Affleck officially settled his divorce with Lopez on January 20.

Following his separation from Lopez, Affleck was briefly linked to Kick Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., after they were seen spending time together.

However, the actor quickly dismissed the dating rumours.

As for Alba, news of her separation from Warren surfaced in January, though sources say their relationship had been on the rocks for a while. The couple, who were together for 16 years, had reportedly drifted apart before publicly confirming their breakup.

Alba officially broke the silence on the split on Instagram.

She said, “I’ve been on a journey of self-realization and transformation for years - both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.”
