Demi Moore’s appearance at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards stirred controversy when a viral video appeared to show her “snubbing” Kylie Jenner.

The incident happened on January 5, as Moore celebrated her win for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for her role in The Substance.

The video shows Moore warmly chatting with Elle Fanning and Timothée Chalamet at their table while Jenner, seated nearby, congratulated her.

Moore briefly glanced at Jenner before continuing her conversation with Fanning, which many online took as an intentional slight.

The moment sparked widespread speculation on social media about whether Moore had deliberately ignored the reality star.

Tallulah Willis, Moore’s daughter, addressed the rumours on Instagram to clear the air. “Hi @everyone but really, press, NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD,” she wrote, denying any snub.

She explained that the family had spent New Year’s with Fanning, making their interaction after Moore’s win feels natural.

Tallulah also pointed out that her mother was overwhelmed with joy and navigating a room full of people congratulating her.

She further clarified, “There was no snub of any sort. Had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her, she would have fully given her the time and space.”

She ended by asking the public to let her mother enjoy her achievement without unnecessary drama.

Demi Moore herself shared highlights from the night on Instagram, including a FaceTime moment with her daughters, proudly showing off her award.

She wrote in the caption, “Woke up this morning still in shock but full of so much joy, love, and gratitude for this honor and recognition. I am so deeply humbled and the little girl in me is saying F*** YEAH!

“Thank you for your support and kind words, and thank you @goldenglobes.”
