Miriam Margoyle, known for starring as Pomona Sprout in the “Harry Potter” movie saga, is a much-loved actress in the industry.
She is also known for being outspoken as well as being incredibly funny.
Recently, Margoyle revealed that she was offered to act in Marvel’s Agatha All Along Disney+ series, but turned them down on their offer.

Although most actors wouldn’t turn down the chance to appear in a Marvel Cinematic Universe series or movie, Margoyle has explained why she chose to opt-out.
Speaking to News.com.au while discussing and promoting her new autobiography, “Oh Miriam!”, she revealed they contacted her and spoke of “witches”.
“They contacted me and said, ‘We’re doing a story about witches’,” she began.
“I thought, ‘Oh god, not witches again… because I’ve done that with Harry Potter.”
Margoyle, who played Professor Sprout in the Harry Potter franchise, said she doesn’t particularly like America after being told the film would be filmed in Atlanta, Georgia.

“I don’t like America, and I didn’t want to be in Georgia for four months,” she admitted.
“So I just said, ‘Well, I want a million pounds, and they said, ‘You can have half a million’.”
“I said, ‘No, I don’t want to do it’, so it just stopped,” she continued.
“Really it’s a story about my own greed rather than anything else,” she joked.
