Hugh Jackman’s ex ‘had suspicions’ about Sutton Foster before romantic relationship speculation

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife had her doubts about Sutton Foster during their Broadway show days.

Hugh Jackman’s ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness reportedly had  “suspicions” about his relationship with Broadway star Sutton Foster before her divorce from the X-Men star.

This comes amid rumours that Jackman and Foster, who is also going through a divorce from Ted Griffin, may be romantically involved.

Jackman and Foster co-starred in The Music Man at prominent Broadway theatres in New York City from December 2021 to January 2023.

Throughout the show’s run, they appeared close at various events, with the actress smiling as the Wolverine actor embraced her at the Tony Awards in June 2022.

After almost 30 years of marriage and two children, Oscar and Ava, Jackman and Furness announced their separation in September 2023.

Sources close to Furness say she noticed changes in Jackman’s behaviour once he started working closely with Foster, which led to some suspicion about their bond.

An insider told the Daily Mail, “Deborra-Lee had her suspicions when Hugh started working with Sutton. Their relationship is not a secret to her.”

“Deborra-Lee wants to be left out of this narrative. She is not going to address this or speak against Hugh. When they divorced, they agreed to keep everything that happened during their marriage private.”

Despite any concerns, Furness has chosen to stay quiet on the subject. According to a different source, she’s determined to keep a dignified stance, refraining from speaking negatively about Jackman.

Both have agreed to keep details of their marriage private and focus on co-parenting their children.

The source told the Daily Mail, “Time has passed for Hugh to mourn his divorce, and now Sutton is over her relationship; they are getting closer to making it official.”

“They aren’t going to shove it down everyone’s throat. They became close friends while working together and got to confide in each other over their individual troubles.”

“Hugh still has tremendous respect for Deborra-Lee. They have kids and that is what is important to them both. They are repairing what they can and will never talk ill about each other.”
