Jennifer Lawrence recalls movie producer ‘humiliating’ and ‘degrading’ her naked body

Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence has often been the subject of false claims, which has led her to have to speak out against several allegations.

She was once accused of sleeping with disgraced producer Harvey Weinstein after he reportedly told one of his accusers, “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar,” as then reported by Variety.

Lawrence vehemently denied these claims while addressing the matter to TMZ.

“For the record, while I was not victimized personally by Harvey Weinstein,” she told the outlet.

“I stand behind the women who have survived his terrible abuse.”

“I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time’s up,” she added.

This was not the first time she had a run-in with a producer, as she once told Elle that she faced a very degrading and humiliating time when she was asked to get naked and line up.

“One girl before me had already been fired for not losing enough weight fast enough,” Lawrence said.

“And, during this time, a female producer had me do a nude lineup with about five women who were much, much thinner than me.”

“And we all stood side-by-side with only paste-ons covering our privates.”

“After that degrading and humiliating lineup, the female producer told me I should use the naked photos of myself as inspiration for my diet.”

“I asked to speak to a producer about the unrealistic diet regime, and he responded by telling me he didn’t know why everyone thought I was so fat; he thought I was perfectly ‘f*ckable.’”

“I couldn’t have gotten a producer or a director or a studio head fired.”

“I let myself be treated a certain way because I felt like I had to for my career,” she added.

“I was young and walking that fine line of sticking up for myself without being called difficult.”

“Which they did call me, but I believe the word they used was ‘nightmare.’”

“I didn’t want to be a whistleblower,” she added.

“I didn’t want these embarrassing stories talked about in a magazine.”

“I just wanted a career.”
