Lizzo says she is ‘fhick’ while clapping back at ozempic rumours amid weight loss journey

ByNatalie Duthie

Popular singer Lizzo has always been very body-confident and proud of her curves.

Last year, in May 2023, the singer took to the social media platform TikTok to stitch another creator speaking on weight loss.

A TikTokker who goes by the username @tiffriahgrande sought out other obese people who were working out for their fitness and health rather than trying to “escape fatness.”

Lizzo replied in her video: “Heavy on the not trying to escape fatness. Heavy f**king on it.”

“I just wanted to stitch this to show support to you because this creator specifically said I’m looking for people that I can resonate with, very very same.”

She proceeded to say that her job is very physical and that it’s a “high-performance job” which includes 90 minutes of physical activity as well as keeping a large crowd entertained.

“I think a lot of people see a fat person that way and immediately just assume everything they are doing is trying to be thin,” she says.

“I’m not trying to be thin. I don’t ever want to be thin.”

Fast forward to 18th September, Lizzo shared a post celebrating her weight loss with her fans saying she is “fine both ways” with a video showing herself wearing a black two-piece (before) and then in a grey one-piece outfit (after).

She also posted an Instagram video showing her workout routine whilst captioning the video:

“I’M NOT SKINNY. I’M FHICK.”

One commentator debated whether she was using “Ozempic” or “Cocaine”, to which Lizzo hit back with a captioned carousel post.

“When you finally get ozempic allegations after 5 months of weight training and calorie deficit.”
