Alan Ritchson’s Reacher gets exciting filming update ahead of Season 4

Prime Video’s Reacher Season 4 has received a positive filming update after weeks of uncertainty about the show’s future.

Despite earlier concerns from creator Lee Child about the challenges of adapting the 13th Jack Reacher book, Gone Tomorrow, production on the upcoming season 4 is back up and running in Philadelphia.

Recently, new street signs went up letting residents know that film crews from “Turkey Meatloaf Productions”, Reacher’s working title, would be taking over several blocks between 17th and 19th Streets.

Even though Gone Tomorrow is set in New York City, the show has once again changed things up.

Instead of shooting in NYC, they’ve shifted the story to Philadelphia.

This kind of change isn’t new for the series; Season 2 moved Bad Luck and Trouble from LA to New York, and Season 1 invented an entirely new town in Georgia.

It’s all part of the show’s flexible (and budget-friendly) style of storytelling.

The action-packed crime series is based on Jack Reacher, a former U.S. Army military police officer with a sharp mind and serious combat skills.

As he drifts from one town to the next, he ends up taking down criminals, exposing corruption, and unravelling dangerous conspiracies.

While plot details for Season 4 are still under wraps, the upcoming season will see Reacher caught up in a conspiracy tied to a terrorist plot targeting public transportation, starting with a suspicious encounter on a subway car.

Season 4 of Reacher, which is expected to drop in 2026, will bring in some fresh talent.

Christopher Rodriguez-Marquette (Barry), Sydelle Noel (GLOW), Agnez Mo (Pernikahan), Amisha Hoth (Levitating’s Anggun), and Kevin Corrigan (Law & Order: Organized Crime) will join as series regulars.

Meanwhile, Kevin Weisman (Suits LA), Marc Blucas (My Life with the Walter Boys), and Kathleen Robertson (The Expanse) will appear in recurring guest roles.
