The Black Widow actress continues her legacy with Marvel as she is credited as one of the executive producers for Thunderbolts* coming out in 2025.
No longer portraying the iconic assassin after the events of Avengers: Endgame, Johansson is stepping behind the scenes to help out in the future MCU project.
Johansson previously adopted the role of executive producer for her own solo project for the Black Widow film in 2021.

Thunderbolts* is stacked with a star-studded cast, including Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, and Harrison Ford.
The highly anticipated film will finally see the return of fan-favourite characters like Bucky Barnes, Yelena Romanoff and Alexei Shostakov.
The film will follow a group of antiheroes after being recruited by the U.S. government for covert operations.

With an unconventional dynamic that the MCU has yet to explore, Thunderbolts* will surely stand out at the end of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Phase 5.
It is also stated that the film will tie in with the Black Widow film and no doubt many other projects that the disjointed cast have all come from, like The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.
With Kevin Feige producing the film, Johansson will work alongside Louis D’Esposito, Brian Chapek and Jason Tamez as executive producers.
