One of the most terrifying clowns of the modern age, played by David Howard Thornton, has revealed which role he would love to play in the DCU.
The Terrifier actor who makes people, vomit, gag and pass out is keen to switch to the superhero genre after he’s done with his horror franchise.
In an exclusive interview with GamesRadar+, he revealed which iconic role he would love to take on, none other than DC’s fellow clown: The Joker.

“The Joker is my favourite villain of all time, and that’s a character I would love to play myself one day,” the Terrifier 3 star revealed.
“So hopefully someone like James Gunn gives me the opportunity to tackle that character because I would like to do a lot of fun things with him,” he continued.
Although the Joker has been played by many other stars, fans think David would be quite fitting for the role.
With some stating, “Art is just the silent version of The Joker.”

The horror star also revealed that a lot of his inspiration for playing Art the Clown was the Joker.
“I kind of look at Art as being an amalgamation of all the horror icons that came before him,” he said.
“There are little bits and pieces of every single one of those characters, from Jason to Pinhead to Freddy, Chucky, Jigsaw, all of them,” he added.
He also spoke of who he thinks is the scariest horror jester, “My scariest one would probably be Pennywise.”
“I mean, he was always my favourite back in the day because it’s just that that whole concept of this thing.”
“It feeds off of fear, and it can change its form depending on what scares you the most.”
