Tom Cruise permanently banned from ever purchasing Bugatti again after awkward mishap

He has been banned, for life.

Hollywood veteran Tom Cruise may be an adrenaline seeker, from hanging onto the sides of planes to jumping out of them, there’s not much he can’t do.

However, he won’t be having any fun in a Bugatti anytime soon, as the famous automobile company has banned the Mission: Impossible movie star from ever purchasing one.

Despite being one of the richest actors in his industry, due to one very simple and honest mishap, Cruise is on the blacklist.

While promoting his third Mission: Impossible movie, Cruise and his then-wife Katie Holmes arrived at the premiere in none other than a Bugatti Veyron.

Sadly, when Cruise attempted to open Holmes’ passenger door to let her out, he could clearly be seen struggling to get it open.

Believe it or not, this was enough for the company to axe their relationship.

Although he eventually managed to get Holmes out of the Veyron, before they both headed onto the premiere red carpet, Bugatti had already seen enough.

This isn’t the first time luxury car companies have banned high-profile celebrities from buying their cars either, it seems to happen more often than not.

Simon Cowell and Floyd Mayweather are just two of the various names to make the list.

One thing’s for sure, though: it’s safe to say Ethan Hunt won’t be driving around the streets in a Bugatti in Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning.
