Netflix’s Stranger Things series is gearing up for its fifth and final season.
David Harbour recently teased that the final episode of season 5 of the series is set to be incredibly emotional and tearful.
In a recent interview with ComicBook, Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper in the series, shed some light on the last season of the Netflix series.

He said, “Getting back to the OG crew of this final season has been wild in a way because we have come so far and it is not the show that we started in Season 1.”
“I think that’s a wild experience for all of us. I mean, those kids were 11 years old when we started, 12 years old. Now they’re 20 and they’re shaving and they aren’t kids anymore.”
Without divulging any details, Harbour revealed that the cast recently did a table read for the season 5 finale, describing the experience as incredibly emotional.
He continued, “Finn (Wolfhard) just directed a movie. I think to have it all come back full circle.”
“We just read we just did a read-through of the last episode and the amount of crying… like the episode is very beautiful.”

He also added, “But there’s also a deeper level of that, this was actually their childhood. They were 11 years old and grew up and fought this monster.”
“And I’ve never seen so much heavy, heavy weeping from teenagers or young adults in my life.”
Season 5, which will be the last season of the hit Netflix show, is currently in production.
Although no specific release date has been announced, it’s expected to come out in 2025.
In addition to David Harbour, Stranger Things features Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, and Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair.
Additionally, Sadie Sink has been cast as Max Mayfield, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Maya Hawke as Robin Buckley, Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna, and more.
