Megan Fox’s shocking split from Machine Gun Kelly just weeks after announcing her pregnancy has caused a stir on the internet.
The split occurred over Thanksgiving weekend in Vail, Colorado, after Fox discovered concerning messages from other women on Kelly’s phone.
Now it has been reported that the Transformers star reportedly purchased an $8 million home for herself in a popular celebrity neighborhood in Los Angeles before her split from the singer.
Fox, who is currently expecting her first child with Kelly, was reportedly planning to move in without him even before they broke up.
According to TMZ, the former couple hadn’t been living together for the past year.
MGK reportedly bought a house years ago and frequently had guests over, which left Fox worried about safety and prompted her to live in her own place.
Fox ended her nearly five-year relationship with MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, after suspecting he had been texting other women.
A source told the outlet, “During their Thanksgiving trip, she grew suspicious and decided to check his phone,” revealing that she “found text messages with other women and decided she was done.”
The source also noted that Fox “always had trust issues” during their on-and-off relationship “because of past behaviours.”
She had been willing to try to “rebuild her trust” with Kelly, but after discovering the text messages, she’s now ready to move on.
“The most important thing in Megan’s world right now is her unborn baby, and she has no problem raising the child on her own,” a source further added.
Fox shares three sons — Noah, 12, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 8 — ex-husband Brian Austin Green, whom she split from in 2020 after 10 years of marriage.
Baker, meanwhile, is father to a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, whom he shares with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon.
