Millie Bobby Brown admits she hasn’t watched any Marvel movies despite working with Chris Pratt

Millie Bobby Brown may be one of the biggest young stars in Hollywood, but she has never watched a single Marvel movie.

The Enola Holmes star made some surprising admissions during the press tour for her latest film, The Electric State.

The most unexpected was that she has never watched an MCU film - despite co-starring with Chris Pratt.

Brown was caught off guard during an interview with Entertainment Tonight when asked about the franchise.

At first, she hesitated, stammering, “I - It’s not that I haven’t seen…” before co-star Chris Pratt leaned in with a suspicious look.

The exchange led to laughter, and Brown finally explained why she’s never kept up with the MCU.

She admitted she is not much of a movie watcher and preferred to spend her time outdoors with her dogs and animals.

She said, “No, you know what, I am really, really bad just in general with watching movies.”

“I am just somebody who lives in nature and I love to be outside with you know my dogs, and my animals and so I spent a lot of time outside.”

She revealed that while her husband, Jake Bongiovi, is a big movie fan, she rarely sits down to watch films - even as an actress.

She went on, “Although my husband on the other hand is a total movie buff, and it’s not that I don’t love movies, I do love movies, I’m an actor.”

“But I just, I find myself 9, 10 hours of the day, I am outside, I don’t step foot inside my house.”

Brown’s comments came  as a surprise to fans, especially considering her own career in the sci-fi and fantasy genre.

She gained worldwide fame as Eleven in Netflix’s Stranger Things and has also starred in Godzilla: King of the Monsters and Enola Holmes.

Fans had mixed but mostly amused reactions to Brown’s honesty.

One user posted, “That’s okay, I love being outside too! It’s refreshing and relaxing.” 

Another commented, “That’s actually a good thing.”

Someone else said, “I love how she’s just a farm girl now.”

While another joked, “Girl really said ‘no cause I touch grass’ HAHA.”
