Oscar-nominee Sigourney Weaver has confirmed her return for James Cameron’s Avatar 4 and Avatar 5.
Weaver recently told Deadline the good news and that she has a role in the upcoming “Star Wars” movie The Mandalorian and Grogu.
“I got to meet Grogu for the first time the other day.”
“I’m filming that before I go to London for The Tempest at the end of the year.”

Although she didn’t reveal anything about her character, she told the interviewer that she has played a fun part in it and is looking forward to her role.
“I can’t say much about it right now, but it’s fun to bounce between all these different universes.”
Weaver also spoke on a possible return as the much-loved character Ellen Ripley in the “Alien” franchise.
“It’s not completely impossible,” she revealed.
“Certainl,y a lot of good filmmakers are inspired by the material.”

She then questioned whether the fans actually want Ripley back.
“How much does the public really need or want another Ripley movie?”
“I don’t really sit around and think about it, but if it came up,” she added.
“I would consider it,” she revealed.
“It has come up a bunch of times, but I’m also busy doing other things.”
“Ripley has earned her rest.”
It’s safe to say the fans would love the Queen of Sci-Fi to reprise her role, maybe even as just a cameo in the upcoming TV series Alien: Earth – who knows!
