Terrifer is known for being so gruesome that its movies have caused much controversy over the years, with some stating it’s just “gore for the sake of gore.”

However, Art the Clown has upset even more people with the premiere of the latest instalment.

Terrifier 3 is due to be released on the 11th of October, the film’s X account shared an image with a note on a cinema door warning people before viewing this movie.

“Warning! This film contains extreme violence and excessive gore. If you are feeling unwell, please find a member of staff. Staff trained in first aid are on site.”

Previous movies had been known to cause people to “pass out” and leave the cinemas due to the extreme gore and violence, once again it has caused the same effect.

As shared by LADbible, the first UK screening of Terrifer 3 was confirmed to have an intense opening scene, causing “nine walkouts” within the first few minutes and a further two during the screening.

One viewer was confirmed to have vomited due to the intensity and goriness of the movie.

However, it’s unclear if that viewer was one of the ones who actually decided to leave.

Director Damien Leone made a statement regarding the walkouts of the movie and seemed very proud of that reaction.

“Typically people walk out of a movie because it sucks,” he said.

“When someone walks out of a Terrifier film, it’s a testament to the special makeup fx team.”

“I guess we’ve done our job!”
