Damien Leone’s Terrifier trilogy has its fair share of gory horror scenes with most of them involving various stars screaming at the top of their lungs whilst encountering Art the Clown.
Although filming on the movie is performed in studios and secure sets, Terrifier 2 star Casey Hartnett revealed how auditioning for the role at home caused some “weird” assumptions from her neighbour.
According to the star, her intense screaming during a home audition ended up causing her neighbours to be so startled that they were convinced she was just having “really weird sex”.

Hartnett starred in the 2022 horror sequel as Allie.
While recalling her audition process for the movie while talking with Round the Clock Frights, the Terrifier 2 star explained how the majority of her auditions were “self-tapes” recorded at home.
“I just did a self-tape,” she began to explain.
She continues to explain how she eventually ended up doing chemistry tests in person alongside the horror franchise’s main protagonist Sienna, played by Lauren LaVera.
However, her self-recorded audition at home involved performing a “screaming scene”, with her screams being heard by her confused neighbours.
“I’m in my apartment and I’m screaming b***dy murder,” she said.
“My neighbour comes and knocked on the door,” she continued to explain.

Although you may assume the star’s neighbours were concerned for her safety, she recalled how the entire situation ended up being “really funny” as they had other theories.
“Actually it was really funny,” she said.
“They were like, ‘I wasn’t sure if you were getting murdered or having really weird sex.'”
Hartnett’s “screaming” audition was vital during her audition process, as fans will know, her character Allie suffers one of the most tragic and brutal encounters with Art the Clown.
However, Terrifier 3 – released on October 11 – may trump everything fans have seen so far in the horror movie franchise.
