Jurassic Park and Jurassic World have both been global hit trilogies, with the latter being a modern continuation following the events of the original attempts at creating dinosaurs cloned from DNA.
Set 22 years later, Jurassic World combines the prehistoric with the modern on the high-tech island of Isla Nublar.
The first of the new trilogy released in 2015 made around $1.6 billion worldwide.
At the time it became the third highest-grossing film of all time.

With Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard set to lead, the two A-listers kicked off the start of their contracted trilogy.
The 43-year-old actor shared how she was “at a great disadvantage” when it came to her salary.
She shared how she was paid significantly less than her male counterpart.
Playing the role of Claire Dearing, Howard explained how signing the contract for three movies put her at a disadvantage.
“When I started negotiating for Jurassic, it was 2014, and it was a different world, and I was at a great disadvantage. And, unfortunately, you have to sign up for three movies, and so your deals are set.”
It was reported back in 2018 that the sequel Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom had earned Howard $8 Million and Pratt $10 Million.
The Argylle actor didn’t disclose specifically how much she made but did share that it was less than that.
“The reports were so interesting because I was paid so much less than the reports even said, so much less.”
“Whenever there was an opportunity to move the needle on stuff that hadn’t been already negotiated, like a game or a ride, he (Pratt) literally told me, ‘You guys don’t even have to do anything.”
“I’m gonna do all the negotiating.”
“We’re gonna be paid the same, and you don’t have to think about this, Bryce.’
Howard revealed that because Pratt fought for them to get equal opportunities regarding games and rides, she was actually paid more than the film.
“I love him so much for doing that. I really do, because I’ve been paid more for those kinds of things than I ever was for the movie.”
This includes her reprising the role for Lego Jurassic World, Lego Dimensions, Lego Jurassic World: The Indominus Escape, Jurassic World Evolution, Jurassic World: The Ride, and Jurassic World Evolution 2.
