Netflix’s Back in Action star Cameron Diaz has revealed that she would love to star in a sequel to The Mask, the title in which she made her big movie debut in 1994.
The Sweetest Thing Hollywood actress starred alongside Ace Ventura star Jim Carrey in the hilarious comedy, where Stanley (Carrey) finds a wooden mask.
Although it was not just a normal mask, it was a magical one that transformed him into a green-faced troublemaker with Looney Tune-styled features.

Diaz played Tina Caryle, a nightclub singer who becomes infatuated with Stanley.
She is also the ex-girlfriend of gangster Dorian Tyrell.
In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Diaz revealed the one condition that would convince her to come back for a sequel.
“If Jim’s on board, I mean, I’ve been riding those coattails from day one.”
This just comes weeks after her co-star Jim revealed he would also be up for a sequel, telling Comicbook.com.
“Oh gosh, you know, it has to be the right idea.”
“If somebody had the right idea, I guess…”
So perhaps fans could get another Mask movie, especially as both main stars have expressed their desire to return.
Some people have shared their thoughts online, believing “It doesn’t need a sequel.”

But most have mainly added that they would love to see some real comedy again, believing that Jim has “the itch to be his fun goofy self” again.
“If it was real and the normal cast and has a goooood story I would be so down for this,” one person added.
“This and another pet detective I’m down!” one exclaimed.
Some also mentioned that The Mask 2 had already been tried, although it didn’t star Jim Carrey and was called Son of The Mask.
It was evidently a box office flop and was not well-liked by most viewers, with most who would like to pretend it never existed.
Ouch!
