However, on Monday, October 14, Cassidy posted a TikTok video explaining why she left South America ahead of Payne’s tragic death.

In the video, Cassidy filmed her journey back to Florida, detailing her eagerness to return home. 

She shared, “Honestly, I love South America but I hate staying in one place for too long and we were supposed to be there for like five days and it turned into two weeks and I was just like I need to go home.”

The footage showed Cassidy’s travel experience and concluded with her expressing her happiness about being back in the U.S., saying she was excited to get into bed after the extended trip.

Authorities have confirmed that Payne died after falling from his hotel room at the Casa Sur Palermo Hotel.
