Authorities in Argentina have revealed new details from Liam Payne’s hotel room after the One Direction star’s tragic death in Buenos Aires.
Payne, 31, passed away after falling from the balcony of his third-floor hotel room at the CasaSur hotel in the Argentine capital.
The incident occurred on October 16, around 5:00 PM, when police were called to the scene after the hotel manager reported a man had fallen from a balcony.
Upon arriving, officials found Payne’s body on the ground floor beneath his hotel room, with a mobile phone, whiskey, and a lighter nearby.

Police have since released more information regarding the state of his hotel room, which they described as being in “total disorder.”
According to their statement, several items were broken, and alcohol, along with medication, was scattered throughout the room.
Among the medications found were clonazepam, a drug commonly prescribed to treat epilepsy, muscle spasms, and panic disorders.
Authorities are continuing their investigation, having taken fingerprints and other pieces of evidence from the room for further analysis.
They previously noted reports of an “aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol” prior to Payne’s fall.

Speaking about the incident, Alberto Crescenti, the Director of Emergency Medical Services, explained on Argentina’s Todo Noticias TV channel.
“At 17.04 through the 911 integrated public safety system, we were alerted of a person who was in an internal courtyard of the management of a south house hotel.
“At 17.11 a SAME team arrived and verified the death of this man and later we found out that he was a singer in a musical group.”
“Unfortunately, he had injuries that were incompatible with life, as a result of his fall, so we had to confirm his death, there was no possibility of resuscitation.”
Payne had been in Buenos Aires to attend a concert by his former One Direction bandmate Niall Horan.
He was reportedly seen dancing at the event alongside his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
Just days before the tragedy, on October 14, Cassidy posted a TikTok video explaining her early departure from South America, leaving Payne behind.
This shocking turn of events has left fans and the entertainment world mourning the loss of the beloved musician, who was just 31 years old. The investigation remains ongoing.
